The children have been really busy since returning to school after the Easter break. They have really enjoyed going on hunts around the garden, searching for all kinds of things and ticking them off on their lists. They have been hunting for bugs, flowers, numbers and even hidden Easter surprises. They are so good at being detectives! They have also enjoyed making some fabulous creations in the mixing kitchen, using all sorts of things and getting wonderfully messy! There has been lots of lovely imaginative play in our new tuff spots with mermaids and pirates, the children sharing lovely ideas and playing together. The children are having lots of fun on the fixed equipment too, finding lots of new and adventurous ways of moving as they climb, swing and balance! The children have explored lots of writing patterns and enjoyed decorating paper eggs as well as lots of other lovely creative activities. There has also been some fabulous large scale building in the garden using crates, tyres and other resources. The children have made all sorts of things including cars, houses, trains and even aeroplanes. We have celebrated lots of birthdays too! Our boys and girls are getting so big and grown up! What a busy time we are all having!
